HER Story

She was at the salon getting her hair done when she started experiencing excruciating abdominal pain. She was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with an abdominal obstruction and sepsis. Despite multiple near-death experiences during surgery and treatment, Nio survived and made a full recovery.

Now, on the other side of the healing process, and equipped with a new perspective on vulnerability, resilience, and the value of community, Nio is determined to empower and inspire others to live with meaning. 

Nio is a certified energy leadership practitioner. She now uses her coaching education, healthcare executive background, and life experience to help individuals and teams connect with their authentic selves, set and achieve goals, and cultivate a culture of community.

Nio's professional background in revenue cycle, finance, and technology also allow her to continue helping healthcare organizations evolve their digital and hyper-automation ecosystems using strategic transformational models. She was one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Innovators in 2021, and has been recognized for developing novel ways of improving patients’ access to care.

Nio is passionate about sharing her experiences and expertise through one-on-one coaching, workshops, public speaking, and retreats. Her goal is to empower others to reach their full potential and build purposeful, fulfilling lives.
